I recently bought a new pair of running shoes. Well, metaphorically at least.
You know how it works. One day you look at your life and you realize, Hey, I wanna do that – paint a mural, sow a garden, write a novel, build a house, get back into shape, whatever. So, you make plans: You write in a calendar. You download the tunes. You set your alarm for 6:00 AM. And you buy a brand new pair of razzle-me dazzlin’ fast running shoes.
And this is them. It. Me –
Splattered across the computer screen in wordpress style, trialing for a time before going officially my-own-name-dot-com.
I feel awkward.
Exposed.
Out of shape.
I hope no ones watching.
I hope everyone’s watching.
Who am I kidding?
But everyone starts somewhere.
So I put back in my headphones. Turn up the music. And just run with it.
